Child Safety Standards

Public policy page for parents, users, and platform partners. This is a normal web page (HTML), not a PDF.

Back Channel is committed to child safety. This page summarizes how we treat child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), user reporting, enforcement, and cooperation with authorities.

1. Zero tolerance

Back Channel prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Such content and behavior are not allowed on our platform.

2. Reporting in the app

Users can report child safety concerns using Back Channel's in-app reporting tools where those tools are available.

3. Reporting by email

Users may also contact us at support@backchannel.video.

4. Our response

We review reports we receive and may remove content, restrict accounts, or permanently ban users when our policies or applicable law require it.

5. Authorities and specialist reporting

When appropriate and where required or permitted by law, confirmed CSAM or CSAE may be reported to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), where applicable (for example, under U.S. federal reporting obligations).

6. Legal compliance

Back Channel complies with applicable child-safety laws and cooperates with lawful requests.
