These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Back Channel app ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms and to act in accordance with our platform's principles. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Sharing credentials, impersonating others, or creating multiple or automated accounts is strictly prohibited. One account per person is enforced.

To foster a safe and authentic space, certain engagement data such as your comments, likes, and public interactions may be visible to other users. This ensures accountability and discourages harmful behavior. Anonymity does not shield bad actors.
All content, trademarks, and code in the App are the property of Back Channel or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without express permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, our Privacy Policy, the EULA, or the Ten Commandments of Back Channel. We also reserve the right to take action against bots or accounts that undermine the integrity of our platform.
The App is provided "as is" with no warranties. We are not liable for damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.
We may update these Terms periodically. If material changes are made, we will notify you. Continued use of the App after changes implies your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. All legal disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Los Angeles County, CA.
